Chobham Festival

Chobham Festival brings diverse music, art, theatre and cultural events and glorious flower festivals to delight, entertain and enrich the community life of our Surrey village. We are a not-for-profit group seeking to make events as accessible and affordable for as many people of all ages as possible. We also make a donation each year to our beautiful parish church, which hosts many of our events. Young Chobham Festival e want to open an early door to the enjoyment and appreciation of music, so we have £5 tickets for 18s and under for our two classical concerts (subject to availability). The Schools’ Prom has for many years been bringing together students from Valley End Infants, St Lawrence Primary, Coworth Flexlands Prep School and Gordon’s School for a joint concert showcasing their talents. Most years, thanks to the generosity of the Rowan Bentall Charitable Trust, we run musical workshops in schools, and children’s participation is also a joyful part of the Songs of Praise. In 2018, we introduced a new feature to our programme with a family theatre production and look forward to nurturing Young Chobham Festival further for 2019 and beyond.
