A unique small press book publisher or photography and fine art books. The Ship Escaped has published "TIM GO AWAY!" now in the collection of the library of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The library of MoMA, the library of the International Center of Photography and was shortlisted for the 2016 Anamorphois Prize. Other books like Electronic Music: New York City 1995 and Fumetti have had similar success. The goal is to create unique books that stand the test of the bookshelf. The "Test of the Bookshelf" is, after purchasing a book and putting it on your bookshelf, in three years time would you see the spine of that book, and think "hey, I haven't looked at that in awhile" and get excited and pull it down. Also the goal is to make a photography or art book that's as good sa a well made cortado or a Factory Records-era New Order song.
