Our Story Forecast° Raincoats was founded when we noticed a clear gap in the market for a stylish, local, trendy and 100% waterproof - proudly South African Raincoat. This is the journey of how Forecast° Raincoats became the brand that is it today, offering South Africa 100% waterproof and windproof raincoats that are local, trendy and always on point. Our Product Forecast° Raincoats represents a fine balance between style and outdoor convenience, with a touch of South African flare and culture infused into our products. Our brand aims to provide the outdoor market with a differentiated offering and a unique promise in this space. Forecast° Raincoats integrates local South African materials such as Shwe Shwe prints into the linings of our garments. Furthermore, we have a huge focus on the styling of our garments and how the final product will fit and feel on the customer. Forecast° Raincoats are manufactured in Cape Town, from locally sourced materials and by local employees. Our Social Awareness We also have a initiative that aims to keep the homeless dry and warm throughout the year. We work with a non profit organisation, Youth Solutions Africa (Y.S.A), who makes sure our raincoats get put into the correct hands and help people who need it most during the rainy winter days in the Mother city. We only employee local employees and use locally sourced materials.
