Mikroalg was founded in 2009, in order to perform applied research on microalgae production technologies and product development strategies. Mikroalg has completed several national research projects and generated know-how for heterotrophic microalgae production. Mikroalg also focuses on extraction of valuable compounds from microalgae and product development for different sectors such as agriculture, cosmetics, food, feed and bioenergy.
