Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization made up of Catholic lay men and women, whose primary mission is to seek the face of Christ in the poor. The thrift store provides low priced goods and services to the greater Dallas community. A vision and a dream became a reality! Dallas, the fifth largest metropolitan area in the country, was the only city in the nation without a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. That changed in October 2007, when the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store of Dallas opened its first store in Dallas - The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store “Much More than a Store.”
