The Beach Patrol's official motto is: THE DEED IS ALL, NOT THE GLORY Our mandate is twofold: First, the Patrol provides aquatic supervision to the surrounding waters off the Main Beach in Port Stanley. Subsequently, the Beach Patrol provides first aid and first response support to all Main Beach Patrons. Second, the Patrol endeavours to provide water safety awareness and education within the community. These two mandate objectives are accomplished through the following services that the Beach Patrol provides: Aquatic supervision Aquatic and First Aid rescue/care Water safety awareness pamphlets and talks to patrons, local schools or community based programs Aquatic and First Aid training Public service and community based beach events
