In 2015, lofelofe.com officially started its community engagement when a group of volunteers served the Agege community through the Food Kitchen Event. Our mission is to foster active citizen engagement in our communities. People from different walks of life coming together to tackle injustice (poverty, lack of care, unnecessary deaths etc.) in our society; through relevant initiatives. External, adhoc participants cannot be the change agents in our communities. It is simply not sustainable especially when active contributors or change drivers are not developed from within to sustain progress. The vision is to get everyone (givers and receivers alike) to contribute in their own way to the mission and for us all to have better communities and lives. We all have a role to play in the change that we seek.
