RecycleBalls is a youth-powered nonprofit organization with a vision to place a tennis recycling bin on every court in the USA by 2020. Every year, 135 million tennis balls are thrown into landfills in the US, which accounts for 20,000 tons of methane producing waste. Tennis players and facilities want to recycle but courtside recycling bins and a comprehensive program have not been available in the US. RecycleBalls is a cost effective solution to collect, manage and ship tennis balls towards a second life. A comprehensive national program that returns facilities and partners real value and makes it compelling for them to offer a GREEN solution.
