It is time for IT specialists to unite and jointly defend their rights and interests. For thousands of years, people were combined in guilds, shops, trade unions. Some of these organizations are very powerful and have a lot of weight in society. The Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of the United States handles the Oscar Prize, the Trade Union "Solidarność") led to the release of Poland from the Communists. The opinion of Ukrainian IT associations is taken into account by people's deputies. It's time to create a legitimate, independent and democratic professional association - "Guild of IT specialists." Our goals and tasks are the expression of the consolidated position of IT specialists in the information space, protection of the rights and interests of all Ukrainian IT specialists in front of the state and business, regardless of their legal status, constructive cooperation with other public organizations, associations, clusters and companies of IT industry. "Guild" is formed in accordance with the charter, on the basis of direct democracy and transparency. Leaders will be elected direct voting and can be withdrawn in case of loss of trust. Financing will be carried out at the expense of membership fees and donations, financial statements will be publicly affordable. The activity of the IT Guild will be carried out exclusively within the framework of the current legislation. No one will protect our rights except ourselves, so "guilds" - to be!
