There is a unique culture and lifestyle derived from living and working in Eastern Montana. We call it Eastern Montana Modern. We love to share how our design practice draws inspiration from the landscape, history and inhabitants of the grasslands of Montana, the least-appreciated part of the Last Best Place. As architects and makers, our goal is to help the people of this region live better lives by creating buildings and objects with a beauty and functionality embracing their values. As lived for the past two centuries, the values native to the people of Eastern Montana are grit, authenticity, minimalism, community, and stewardship.
