National Autism Association - New York Metro is a chapter of the National Autism Association serving the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Rockland County. We are an all-volunteer, grassroots organization. Our mission is to educate and empower those in the autism community. We will never give up in the search to help affected individuals reach their full potential. We provide educational programs, free parent mentoring, professionally moderated support groups and other events and services to families and professionals in the NY Metro area whose lives are affected by autism. We bring information and awareness about all aspects of autism spectrum disorders to the community, including both traditional and alternative therapeutic and treatment modalities.
