Global Education Ambassadors (GEA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education in the communities that need it most. At the moment, we are run and staffed entirely by a team of experienced and enthusiastic volunteers. As a recently incorporated nonprofit organization, we are excited to be writing this first chapter of GEA’s story, learning and growing along with the young people we are working so hard to serve. MISSION STATEMENT: GEA strives to promote equity worldwide by assisting underserved communities acquire the resources and infrastructure they need to help children receive a quality education, breaking the cycle of poverty and building a solid foundation for a promising future. VISION STATEMENT: We envision a world where all children have an equal opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, or socioeconomic background. HOW WE WORK: GEA supports communities with severely underfunded schools by providing essential resources and infrastructure to ensure children have access to a quality education. GEA focuses on sustainable projects that support children by forming collaborative relationships with local leadership and communities. GEA selects projects based on need, sustainability, impact, and the commitment of the community to forming long-term partnerships with our organization. GEA utilizes local labor and materials in the implementation of its projects to ensure cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and the strengthening of local economies. GEA is committed to improving access to technology in the classroom to prepare children for the modern world.
