GRP Aberdeen, Scotland are experienced in the composite engineering industry both offshore and onshore and are able to offer a very professional and specialist design and manufacturing service. We manufacture master patterns, production tools, and the products thereafter. Design : Using state of the art CAD tools we can model up any structure and test them prior to production of any manufacturing tooling. Hand calculations can be produced as FEA’s and complimentary engineering programs such as STAAD. Manufacture : GRP Aberdeen Ltd has 4 manufacturing units and a large external storage yard, this allows for the segregation of different contracts and materials. All work is carried out in designated areas with risk assessments and statements that are produced as requested. The GRP facility is complimented by our in house design and steel fabrication facility which is housed within MSD Design Ltd. Installation : Our trained squads will visit sites onshore and offshore to install a complete range of pre-fabricated components. Personnel are qualified for offshore (BOSIET & MIST) and onshore (CSCS) and will install laid up GRP directly on site if required. Site works are controlled at all times by in house produced work packs. In conjunction with our sister company MSD Design Ltd, we can offer onshore and offshore support in the way of survey, design, installation and fabrication.
