www.normandie-univ.frNormandy University was founded in 2015, and gathers 6 founder members (the universities of Caen Normandy, Havre Normandy and Rouen Normandy, the architecture school ENSA Normandy, and the engineering schools ENSICAEN and INSA Rouen Normandy) and 12 associate members. It organises the coordination of the training offerings and of the research and transfer strategy of the higher education institutions and research bodies in the form of a territorial cluster. The higher education institutions and research bodies that are members of Normandy University share the desire to make top-level training and research offerings and to ensure that innovation progresses in every shape and form. The ambition of Normandy University is to develop the attractiveness of Normandy and its outreach, to be at the service of “global” students, to develop excellence and build up interdisciplinarity to meet social stakes and territorial challenges, to decompartmentalise the academic and business worlds, and to turn digital into a stake for progress and transformation. Normandy University has an outstanding cultural and historical heritage, including the name “Normandie” which is known worldwide, and benefits from a high-quality environment with a major backbone, the Seine Valley. Normandy is France’s leading region for energy and the outreach of its seafront, and home to strong industrial skills in the fields of food processing, car manufacturing, aeronautics, nuclear energy, pharmaceutics, cosmetics and electronics.
