Mission Statement: To provide medical professionalism, medical education, public health and to provide the highest level of assistance of information to our members. Purpose: Chicago Medical Society (CMS) was founded in 1850 and just celebrated its 150th anniversary. The Society cultivates the science and art of medicine, the interchange of professional experience, and the encouragement of professional zeal among its members. Membership: Membership is composed of nearly 7,000 professionals in specialties across Cook County.
