Southeastern Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution serving anyone who lives in Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift, or Turner county, Georgia. We were founded in 1953 as Moody Air Force Base Federal Credit Union, originally offering credit union membership to base employees and their immediate family. Since then, we've changed our name and our charter to serve our current ten-county area in South Georgia. From our modest beginnings with just one branch office on base, we've grown to six branch offices serving more than 29,000 members and growing. We've seen a lot of changes through the years, but one thing remains the same – we are committed to delivering value and providing legendary service to our membership. Since credit unions began in the 1850s, they've had a simple but unique concept – if individuals pool their money together, they can provide a valuable credit source that would not otherwise be available.
