The Advocates of Hope is a registered non-profit company (NPC), which advocates human needs to those with the means to meet these needs. Our mission is to change whole lives forever. We do this through identifying needs in our community and advocating these needs to individuals and corporates until the identified needs are met on a sustainable basis. We are a bible-based Christian organisation serving all humanity across racial and religious divides. Our immediate objectives are to: - Promote and facilitate adoption through recognised and accrediated adoption agencies. - Encourage youth to take responsbility for their own bodies and lives in order to reduce unwanted pregnancy and the spread of HIV. Our medium-term objectives are to: - Secure the capital required to establish a multi-purpose community centre in the Midrand area from where the felt needs of the surrounding community can be met. Our particular emphasis is on orphans and vulnerable children, persons living with HIV and AIDS, the under-educated, the unemployed, and others living in apparent "hopelessness". - Engage in business enterprise to provide employment opportunities and to generate the funds required to meet the ongoing operational expenses of our community projects.
