UCS is a non-profit organization located in Reading and serving all Berks County families that helps connects families and youth with community resources, education, and career development. We work in partnership with local social service agencies. Our YouthBuild program helps young people ages 17-24 to achieve their GED and provides construction training, leadership development, career exploration, and participation in community service. Our dislocated worker program assists workers in the transition to a new job or career. UCS supports Berks residents in rebuilding their futures and finding the pathway to achieving a life-sustaining career.
