The KU Men's Hockey Club was started by three passionate students in 1986. It has remained a student-led organization with faculty advisers, team managers and, more importantly, a loyal fan base. The team has around 25 players from various states, including Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado and etc. KU Hockey plays Division III ice hockey in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Regular season runs from September to February. Home games are played at Silverstein Ice Center, Independence, MO. The team travels to venues frok WI, CO, NE, MO, and more.
