Brighterway Institute
www.brighterwaydental.orgWe improve the health of communities, one bright smile at a time. In late 1999, Dr. Kris Volcheck, CEO of Brighter Way Institute, started preparations for the state's only dental clinic for the homeless. This was a solution to the problem he had found while working at the Central Arizona Shelter Services for the devastating effects homelessness can have on an individual's oral health. On July 1st, 2016, Brighter Way Institute was formed. This new non-profit, with Dr. Volcheck as CEO, took the 3 clinics that formerly belong to CASS, and formed an organization that would continue to focus on treating the oral health needs of our underserved communities. At this time, the Brighter Way Institute is comprised of the Brighter Way Dental Center for Veterans and the Homeless (formerly CASS Dental Clinic), the Parsons Center for Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, and the Canyon State Academy Dental Center for Foster Children. THE MISSION OF BRIGHTER WAY Our mission is to be a leader in providing outstanding dental care and other care management, transforming health homes and training future health professionals for the care of vulnerable children, adults, and families. Brighterway Live Brighterway Live Is a two- day training course that trains dentists on enhancing their clinical skills while offering them the opportunity to help those in need the most. Brighterway Live is offering implant surgical courses where dentists can expand their knowledge on delivering implants in their office. Dentists from around the United States can come to Brighterway in Phoenix, Arizona and receive a temporary license to treat patients in the clinic. During Brighter Way Live's 2-day course you will be guided and mentored through the process of placing implants. This is a great course for those who know the basics on implants and want to become more comfortable with placing them in your office. Instructed by Dr. Joe Mehranfar, DMD, Director of Dental Implant Education at the Brighter Way Dental Center.
