The North Queensland Aero Club is one of Queenslands only remaining Aero Clubs. Founded in 1949, NQAC has been training pilots from Private to Commercial Standard and beyond. No where else in the country will you have the opportunity to train at an International Airport surrounded by the picturesque Great Barrier Reef and luscious rainforests. The training area incorporates well known Fitzroy Island and Walsh's pyramid, two spectacular sights for the pilot in training. Apart from flight training, NQAC offers scenic reef flights and short haul charter. NQAC prides itself on its professionalism and its approach to Safety.
