THE COMPANY S.I.E. SWISS SERVICE is the evolution of a historic name in drying, SIE, which has been existing since 1926, but relies on Bianchi engineers' technical expertise who, now for 120 years, under various names, have been designing and manufacturing dryers and auxiliary equipment for chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and manufacturing industries. Its activity moved in 2013 from its headquarters of Caleppio di Settala to the new headquarters of Grono CH. A Testing Room in Canton Ticino for little lab tests is located in via Comunale 10 – 6807 Torricella-Taverne. There is also a Testing Room with countless devices on lab- and semi-industrial scale with an investment, at current values, of about EUR 400,000. The majority of pilot devices is produced pursuant to AISI 304 or 316. This wide range of equipment allows us to give practical demonstrations of the functioning of proposed driers, therefore getting data that could be certainly extrapolated. The importance we assign to experimentation and research of new solutions is such that this section is under continuous development. S.I.E. SWISS SERVICE is uniquely qualified in the study of drying processes and laboratory studies on the products and in the technical assistance of the systems. A well-equipped laboratory allows performing tests on all products.
