The Portland Area Theatre Alliance (PATA) supports and celebrates our region's vibrant theatre community by fostering opportunity, innovation, and collaboration. We are the Portland Area Theatre Alliance, an alliance of individual theatre practitioners, producing companies, associated businesses, and audience members. We provide networking, resources, and advocacy for our members and the theatre community at large. PATA's major programs are as follows: -Annual Citywide General Auditions -Annual Unified Shakespeare Auditions -Annual Fertile Ground Festival of New Works -Annual Drammy Awards ceremony -The Valentine Fund, a benevolent emergency resource for individual-level member artists -Periodical educational workshops and networking events
