The primary role of Floreat SLSC is the protection of beach users and to save lives. The lifesaving duties are carried out by volunteers, from October to March. Patrols are rostered for Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays during the summer season, with each lifesaver patrolling approximately once per month. Floreat also offers members the chance to participate in many activities including the Sunday morning Woodside Nippers Program for the whole family. The program is fun and informative where both parents and children will learn beach skills from our highly experienced and enthusiastic coaches, age managers and water safety.
