Opening in 1999, Principality Stadium was the first major stadia in the UK to have a retractable roof enabling the transition from indoor concert arena to full capacity (74,500) outdoor sporting events at one venue. In it's 20 year history Principality Stadium has hosted some of the biggest events in sport from the Rugby World Cup, UEFA Championships and Boxing, to concert performances by music legends such as Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce, Pink and Ed Sheeran.
