A not-for-profit volunteer organisation whose primary role is the provision of monitoring services on the Australian Government designated CB emergency channels, and the provision of emergency communications and support to emergency services during disasters and major emergencies. Endorsed as a Public Benevolent Institution, ACREM receives no form of funding or sponsorship and relies solely on donations to continue (all donations or gifts to the value of $2 or more are tax deductible).
