Trauma Informed is a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise awareness and increase compassion and understanding about the nature of trauma and posttraumatic stress; improve systems and policies to better recognize and respond to trauma, avoid re-traumatizing people, and harness the power of trauma to be a source of strength and growth; and empower people who have experienced trauma to experience healing and personal growth.
