Federmetano is the National Federation of Natural Gas for Vehicles Distributors and transporters. It began its activity in 1948, accompanying the development of the natural gas sector for vehicles (NGV) in Italy since then. Federmetano associates the owners of NGV filling stations plants. Some members also carry out activities of supplying and transporting methane using tank wagons for vehicles, civil, industrial uses and for emergencies on Natural Gas pipelines. Since 2009 the Association affiliates the specialized workshops for the transformation of the maintenance of cars powered by methane gas. Composed of more than 300 operators employing over 2,000 employees, Federmetano is the largest trade association in the sector. We annually supply more than 14 million vehicles.
