Tezpur University's School of Engineering has a dedicated T&P Cell, which is housed in the Dean's building of the Engineering (SoE) premises, and has all of the necessary infrastructure. The cell includes its own interview room, conference room, and computer lab for administering online tests. Tezpur University not only produces quality-oriented employees, but also promotes their effective use. The University's Training & Placement Cell serves as an interface, assisting in the placement of students who have graduated from the Institute as well as partnering with major organizations and institutes in the establishment of internship and training programs for students.
