We’re a small company based in the northwest of England, on the edge of the Lake District. We use wool from Herdwick sheep, a local hardy mountain breed, to make draught excluders for chimneys. These fit in the narrow part of the chimney flue just above the fireplace, and prevent around 4% of household heat from escaping up the chimney.
