ShireWomen is a woman-centric educational, networking, events and promotional collective for professional women and business owners based in the Sutherland Shire. Our goal is to help local businesses thrive, so we provide educational events focused on tackling topics that affect businesses from a female perspective. We provide business consulting, introductions, have an extensive local business directory on our website, and share knowledge and interesting stories from our members to the wider Sutherland Shire community. We champion Women in Business, and promote and support our large Membership base through promotion, education and collaboration at our events. We have an extensive Members Resource Library allowing members to share knowledge or learn from white papers we provide, plus our own research. We promote our members to over 650,000 + locals each year. Our monthly networking and educational meeting is called Coffee & Connect in which we discuss relevant themes or trends in the market and how they may affect our members businesses. Attendees include both Members and Guests and speakers talk on a wide range of interesting topics. Our evening events are ShireWomen Empower, ShireWomen Inspire and ShireWomen Indulge and ShireWomen Enrich. Our ShireWomen Empower Series is aimed at Empowering women to tackle issues that can negatively affect them. ShireWomen Indulge is exactly that - Indulgent! These events are usually about connecting over great food and great wine. These are usually our Christmas Party, Melbourne Cup etc. ShireWomen Enrich - these events are about wellbeing. The focus is to get women to take care of their health and wellbeing!
