Team Marketing origins date back to 1959 when Jon DeVries, Sr. began Peter DeVries Associates, a manufacturer rep agency selling hardware and plumbing products through distributors and retailers in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. In 1974, Bud Leftin joined PDVA as a sales representative covering Southern Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Jon DeVries, Jr. joined the organization in 1983, with sales responsibilities at Meijer and Do it Best Corp. Hamm Sales, Inc and Peter DeVries Associates merged operations in 2002 with Jim Inderhees and Jon DeVries, Jr in partnership to form Team Marketing LLC. This merger permitted the alignment of resources with the changing marketplace and provided additional services to manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers.
