‘Exploring and developing together through the integration of Eastern and Western cultures’ is at the core of a Xiehe education. Since its establishment in 1993, Xiehe has adhered to the student-oriented concept of ‘East Meets West’ through collaborative school leadership and management driven by educational research. We provide our students with a comprehensive 15-year education system from kindergarten through senior high school, dedicated to their all-round and sustainable mental and physical development. In 1993, Xiehe opened its first non-government Early Child Education (ECE) school, Tiandi Kindergarten, and in 1998 opened its first international ECE school, Fortune Kindergarten, soon followed by the opening of Jinhui Experimental Kindergarten and Green World Kindergarten. In 2003, the first Shanghai United International School (SUIS) was founded, actively promoting the integration of Eastern and Western cultures. With a unique teaching and learning model and years of experience as a tailwind, the school quickly won a reputation for high quality education. Under the Xiehe Education Group umbrella, the three education brands of Fortune Kindergarten (FKIS), Elite Kindergarten (XHEK), and Shanghai United International School (SUIS) are flourishing - the Group now has a total of 52 schools and educates over 23,000 students. 4,000 of these students represent 44 nationalities, and among our 3,000 teaching staff, 600 are foreign teachers.
