Youlia Rowland is the founding member and portfolio manager of Proxima Capital Management. Prior to founding Proxima in June 2004, Youlia had several years of hedge fund experience covering special situations and risk arbitrage. She began her career in the Investment Banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and is a graduate of the M&T program at the University of Pennsylvania. Proxima is a long/short investment manager with a focus on US and European special situation equities.
