Momenta experience discover grow (founded in 2006) creates experiences that discover strengths and foster growth. For the past seven years, Momenta has specialized in designing and delivering a variety of programming to a variety of age groups and populations throughout Manitoba. Momenta has five core values that we teach to and lead by. Have Fun: We are engaging, We are adventurous, We are passionate. Commitment: We are purposeful, We are authentic, We are accountable. Be Safe: We are professional, We are guided by best practice, We have good judgment. We use current, best practice research in the field of youth development, social work, adventure therapy and experiential education to ensure that programs are safe, engaging, meaningful and challenging. We design programs that incorporate our core values, and themes from the participants’ daily lives and agency defined therapeutic goals and aspirations for their groups. This includes (but is not limited to): leadership development, character building, positive peer, family, and/or staff relationships, group cohesion, and coping strategies.
