The Institution of Fire Engineers is an international not for profit organisation formed to promote, encourage, and improve the science and practice of Fire Extinction, Fire Prevention, Fire Engineering and all operations and expedients connected with Community Fire Safety. From a strategic perspective the Institution seeks to give impulse to ideas likely to be useful in connection with or in relation to such science and practice for the benefit of its members and the community at large. The IFE is the only organisation that represents fire safety engineers and fire officers in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.
