Magnolia Broadband has pioneered the development and fully patented a software solution for "Mobile Transmit Diversity with beam-forming". It delivers hugely impressive benefits to both the Mobile Network Operators and Mobile End Users (see product description for more details). Magnolia Broadband has extensively tested and conclusively proven the need for "Mobile Transmit Diversity with beam-forming" in mobile devices. This has led to major tier 1 Mobile Network Operators making this 'mandatory' in their global device requirements documents. The technology is easily integrated into mobile devices and the performance improvements are realised without any need for changes/upgrades to Mobile Operators network infrastructure. Furthermore, Mobile Transmit Diversity will become a 3GPP standard in 2012 and has been in the GSMA guidelines since June 2011. Magnolia Broadband is working with OEMs and chipset companies to license the software.
