The Graduate Student Council (GSC) is the body of elected student representatives at GSAS. We have two Co-Presidents, a School Senator, and several council Directors. Our mission is to represent the needs and interests of the students of GSAS to the administration, governing bodies, and larger community of NYU in order to secure the safety, welfare, and prosperity of all students of GSAS. Our responsibilities include organizing social, academic, and professional programming tailored to the GSAS student experience, collaborating with the Office of the Dean to address GSAS issues, and representing GSAS on the NYU Student Government Assembly and All University Senate, where we promote legislation impacting GSAS student life. We are here to amplify the GSAS student voice at NYU.
