The City of Arvin (population 20,000) is located in Kern County about 15 miles Southeast of the City of Bakersfield and 86 miles Northwest of Los Angeles. The City is part of the Bakersfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. Nestled against Bear Mountain, the CIty of Arvin depicts a small-town atmosphere that is driven by its agricultural community.
