Digital Finance Institute (DFI) is a Canadian non-for-profit think tank, that was created to support Canadian Innovation in financial technology and artificial intelligence. We address issues in respect of the nexus between financial innovation, digital finance policy and regulation, financial inclusion and women in technology. Founded in 2014, the DFI is also host to Canada’s National FinTech conference (FinTech Canada), the AI World Forum, Canada’s FinTech Week and the Annual Canadian FinTech & AI Awards which celebrates innovation in Canada.
