Founded in 2012, Monarc Tree delivers something previously unavailable in the rental marketplace: home automation. The company, a subsidiary of national electrical contractor Van Kirk Electric, makes use of the internet of things to seamlessly build in automation into any large-scale commercial project, allowing users to control their living spaces, and builders to control and monitor their investments. Monarc Tree is installed discreetly and invisibly into an apartment, allowing the resident to communicate through one app to control their entire apartment’s environment from anywhere in the world. With our app residents are able to turn on their thermostat from the road, push music wirelessly to built-in speakers, and set lighting scenes from any handheld device. Where can you find it? Monarc Tree is currently beta testing in a handful of select properties in Los Angeles and Houston.
