The Autoco Group encompasses a group of companies in the ACT, NSW and QLD which have developed a strong corporate culture focussing on customer service and staff. The company has grown from the initial Autoco business and now employs over 180 staff across six brands in Canberra, Sydney, Albury and Burleigh Heads. Each shareholder in the Autoco Group has a role in the management team on one or several of the businesses. This process has assisted with the development of the succession plan for the businesses and allowed the CEO to focus on strategic matters rather than the day-to-day business. The group operate primarily out of the head office in Phillip, Canberra but enlist their key staff across the network to operate and grow their business. Over the past 20 years the network has expended from five Autoco Mechanical and Accident repair stores in the ACT to five Pedders Suspension stores, three Bridgestone Select franchises and three Alliance Roadside Assist response vehicles. In 2010 the group then attained well-known local event hire business, Barlens, which has two branches in Fyshwick, ACT and Albury, NSW. Conceive and achieve are key concepts in the philosophy to being able to drive the future. The Autoco Group has managed to do this by promoting a corporate culture to readily adapt to new technology, refined processes and successful management of it's people.
