HISTORY Laser Chemicals was established in 1986 as a manufacturer and distributor of industrial cleaning products. In 1994 the company, having outgrown its original premises in Epping, moved to larger premises in Montague Gardens with an approximate floor space of 2000m2. 1996 saw us purchase CDA, a solvent blending plant, and in 2000 a further acquisition of a Laundry Powder manufacturer enabled us to offer a complete range of specialized cleaning products for industry. We received our first SABS accreditation in 1996 and ISO certification in May 1998 and are constantly updating and applying for new SABS marks for our growing range of products. We are a proudly Level 2 BEE contributor. In 2012 we opened our branch in Johannesburg, Gauteng, which has allows us a much bigger footprint into servicing our existing customers and expanding our customer base nationally. STATUS OF THIS PARTICULAR INDUSTRY IN SOUTH AFRICA As the market has become more aware of the Quality and Assurance standards in our industry, customers have chosen to make use of companies like ourselves that carry ISO certification, SABS accreditation and specialized skills. The need for these products has become a critical component of the manufacturing industry.
