The UWC Ireland National Committee supports young people to reach their intellectual, personal and civic potential through the United World College (UWC) program. We select and prepare students to attend UWC Colleges and Schools based on the availability of annual scholarship offers to UWC Ireland, as well as give further information on other UWC activities such as UWC Short Courses. The National Committee also supports the UWC alumni network in Ireland, upholding the UWC mission in the wider community. United World Colleges movement itself comprises schools and colleges in 18 countries and national committees and selection contacts in more than 150. The UWC movement also consists of more than 60,000 alumni and other members in virtually every country in the world. UWC International is governed by the International Board and UWC Council.
