The company has quickly become a strong voice in independent theatre with a string of rave review shows, under the stewardship of Artistic Director and founder Lucy Clements. New Ghosts' body of work has been presented across Australia. New Ghosts Theatre Company is also the home of the IGNITE Collective, a team of 30 female theatre makers who develop, create and present new Australian work on an annual basis. The IGNITE Collective presented their debut work, "Blue Christmas", at the Kings Cross Theatre in 2019. The Collective currently have five new works in development.
