Endeavour is a Bermuda-registered charity and non-profit that engages diverse youth from across Bermuda in experiential learning through sailing that builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Registered Charity #977. Our Vision Inspired, confident, and engaged Bermuda youth with an appreciation for our waters and an excitement for learning and their futures. Our Mission Building self-confidence, teamwork and life skills by engaging youth from diverse backgrounds across Bermuda in hands-on experiential learning through sailing. Goals: * Help Bermuda’s youth from all backgrounds to build self-confidence and develop life skills including problem-solving, teamwork and leadership; * Leverage sailing as an effective tool for teaching STEAM subjects; * Inspire maritime and STEAM career pathways through experiential learning; * Enhance career opportunities for young Bermudians in the maritime industry; * Integrate youth from different backgrounds; expose to sailing and Bermuda’s marine environment; * Increase the retention of youth sailors in Bermuda who wish to pursue the sport of sailing; * Support local sailing clubs toward improving their ability to facilitate sustainable youth programmes.
