United Women's Soccer (UWS) is a national pro-am league with regional conferences across the United States & Canada. UWS is comprised of teams that adhere to professional standards & provide high level competition. Founded in 2015, the UWS fills the gap that exists between the women's collegiate game and the professional & international game. The league's high level competition allows the collegiate player to evolve & enhance during their off-season while giving the post-collegiate player an opportunity to prepare for the professional & international ranks. The season runs from May until the end of July, culminating in a National Championship. The UWS player pool is comprised of college players, aspiring & former professionals, and international stars.
