Openly Connected was born out of the pioneering work of the East Scarborough Storefront (The Storefront). Since 2001, The Storefront has been developing and adapting a new approach to community, the Connected Community Approach. Using the Connected Community Approach, Openly Connected connects community builders with ideas, knowledge, research, tools and each other, translates knowledge across sectors and celebrates and elevates the work of community builders.
