Now recognised as one of Irelands leading commercial contemporary galleries, Sol Art Gallery was formed in 2002 to cater for a large clientele of art lovers which Martin Davis assembled after 20 years in the commercial art business. In 2007 Sol Art opened in Cavan town and for three years held regular exhibitions both in the town centre gallery and the Radisson, Farnham Estate Hotel, all the while continuing with art fairs in both Dublin and the UK. In early 2010 Sol Art Gallery relocated to Dawson Street to cater for its growing Dublin market, where it now operates its National and growing International business. Based in Dublin, Ireland. Sol Art Gallery exhibits the work of exciting painters & sculptors from around the world. The gallery stands at over 2,500 sq ft and is centrally located between Ireland's Houses of Parliament, Trinity College & Dublin's main shopping district Grafton St. Sol Art blends a regular gallery exhibition list throughout the year with a global Art Fair itinerary. In 2011 Sol Art Gallery held six major exhibitions within the gallery on Dawson St. Sol Art also took part in the AAF London in Spring and the AAF New York in Fall of 2011 along with Art London in October, the Edinburgh Art Fair in December & The Bloomsbury Art Fair in July. In 2012 Sol Art Gallery will participate in the AAF Battersea, London, The Edinburgh Art Fair Scotland and Art Ireland 2012.
