The microbEnergy GmbH, a subsidiary of Viessmann Group, has developed the BiON® biological methanation process, that converts H2 and CO2 to renewable methan. Together with its sister company Schmack Biogas Service GmbH, the company is engaged in construction, project management and commissioning of plants in the field of renewable gases. The joint service portfolio draws on more than 20 years of expertise and includes plant installation, technical and biological services, operational management and modernisation in the power-to-gas and biogas sectors.
